What a great find, from breakfast to dinner a must when in Juno!!

Deeeeeee-licious waffle fries and I love that it's pet-friendly! The service was a bit slow, but I can't blame them as they were really busy. Will definitely be back soon!

My wife and I have eaten at the Hurricane Cafe pretty regularly for years, but I must say that last night's dinner was really ho hum. We ate from the early bird menu, and while the macadamia fish was good, the sides were not - the veggies were overcooked and the rice was boring, dry, and tasteless. My wife had a shrimp dish which too was simply OK (different overcooked veggies). Definitely not up to the standard we expected. I will say the the service was as good as always. I think it's probably best to stick to breakfast!

Great, local restaurant with light, bright furnishings, polite staff, and good food. The atmosphere was cozy, and it was clear that many locals frequent this place. They bring out the greatest bread basket I've ever seen...filled with garlic bread, raisin toast, etc. The sangria was quite potent and delicious...I could only finish one glass. I ordered the 10 oz. ribeye steak covered in gorgonzola, and my co-workers ordered NY strip with gorgonzola. The sides were a little overdone. My dish had whipped potatoes and delicious steamed veggies. There was a nest of almost stale french fired onion strings on my plate. My co-worker had a deep fried potato croquette and stuffed tomato which he barely finished. Also, my steak was advertised as 10 oz., but 2 oz. of it was pure fat around the edges. Otherwise, it was a pleasant, unpretentious place with a local feel. I will definitely return. Update: I visited again in Oct. 2010, and I was not so impressed the second time. The sangria comes out of a bucket behind the bar, the steak was tough, and the veggies & mashed potatoes were just bland. The only highlight of the meal was the awesome, freshly prepared apple turnover with caramel sauce. If I go back, I'll only get dessert.

Best breakfast so far in Juno beach. like the waffle and sausage, but skip the mocha. Still on the prowl tho.....

Comfortable and clean restaurant. The place was pretty busy on Saturday around lunch time but the staff still got us seated quickly. It was lunchtime but we were craving breakfast, so the waitress worked it out with the cook and I had a yummy breakfast of corn beef hash & eggs. I'm just visiting the area so I was happy to find a restaurant filled with locals - I much prefer that to an expensive tourist trap. I'd definitely visit the Hurricane Cafe again!

This place is solid. Lots of sandwiches with a little Floridian twist. The grouper rachel took the cake at the table -- must return for that little bit of heaven. Crab cake salad special was a lot of interesting flavors and textures. It certainly made our Friday lab lunch! The inside of this place does look a bit like the Golden Girls set just exploded, which I expected walking up to the joint. Does this mean that I'm becoming Floridian?...

An excellent selection of seafood. Very fresh. Save room for desserts. Great service. It may not be on the water or have tons of ambiance but if you want generous good food, don't pass it by.

Just in from NYC and we needed a place for bfast. Gps said hurricane cafe so we went. Wait was less than they told us for a table. Staff is very nice and helpful. Food - good with oversized portions. Omelette was big enough to feed two. Cheese grits were buttery but could have used more cheese. My son had the 2+2+2. Two eggs two choc chip pancakes two bacon and hash browns. He was in heaven. If you want to bring you pooch they will seat you outside and bring a bowl of water. Final total for two bfast cup o Joe tax tip was $25. A deal

Good breakfast. Long wait for a table when we were there but we got a seat at the counter immediately. Waitress just cute as a button and tolerant of our obnoxious tourist questions.

Great Lunch every time. Try just about anything on the menu and you should be happy. The wraps are fantastic and the salads are amazing as well. Go here with confidence...

Nice atmosphere, good service, great food. There is a reason why Hurricane is so busy. They consistently do the above mentioned things correctly. My only criticisms would be that 1) a little pricey for breakfast but it certainly doesn't stop people from pouring in there. You can charge more if your doing it right. 2) The parking can be a downright pain in the ass. I recommend never driving around back to look for a space. Last time I did that, cars came in from both sides and nobody would budge ( it's single lane around the entire back of the restaurant) We spent what seemed like an eternity waiting for someone to back out of our way. It's a one way drive and some people just ignore that. Big problem. Overall, Hurricane Cafe is a great place. I don't ever remember being disappointed after leaving there.

Yummy banana macadamia nut pancakes, cheese grits, eggs, & English muffin. Extensive breakfast menu. Coffee could be better, tho I had the decaf. Would I return? Probably.

Second to NONE in SOUTH FLA, Hurricane Cafe is AWESOME!!! Grandpa can't wait to go back EVERYTIME for the pancakes and I LOVE the Chili, New England Clam Chowder, Burgers and the WHOLE menu!!!

Breakfast and lunch at this locals restaurant is amazing. Be careful when ordering a "small" juice for breakfast, it's about the size of a shot glass. All of their lunch sandwiches are great and a good size!

have been there twice with a third visit scheduled for tomorrow. came here because of any recommendations and we are so glad we did. the place looks like a cafe and could easily be overlooked from the street. do not make this mistake.....the service, menu and food are amazing. we have had many things to eat there and everything is outstanding. you can taste the freshness of the ingredients and the talent of the chef. go now while we are not in season.....once the snow birds return.....there must be a wait for this outstanding restaurant

This was recommended to us for breakfast/lunch but we gave it a shot for dinner. The food was excellent. A very relaxed and casual setting (dine in or out). My wife and I were pleasantly surprised with very good and accommodating service. Sat outside with a wide selection of drinks and great food.

Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the lackluster service we received today. Mind you, I have been here at least 8-10 times, and the food is always great, and the service is usually acceptable to great. I know everyone has bad days, but when I'm shelling out 8 bucks a pop several mimosas at 7am, I expect decent service! Let me get the annoying things out of the way and then we will talk about the food. First, my dining companion ordered a grilled muffin when they dropped it off she had to ask for butter..."they usually grill it with butter " states the server? Really? Well maybe she wants to put 5 more pats on there...what the heck does she care? Last I knew it was her job to serve, not question peoples dietary indiscretions. 2nd...As I'm finishing up my 1st delicious mimosa someone (not our server) drops off my chicken fried steak and my friends pancakes and literally RUNS. Ok...um, yea I wanted another mimosa and YEA my friend wanted SYRUP WITH HER PANCAKES! helllooo? So we wait several minutes (we were sitting outside) and I go in and grab her a syrup off one of the tables. Halfway through the meal a different server came out to grab stuff off another table and I say "excuse me" and from like 4 tables away as she was dipping back in the restaurant she's like "yea?" and I ask her if she can tell my server I would indeed like another mimosa. She brings it out and neglects to ask my friend if she would like more iced tea in that nice empty glass. So...we finish up the meal and out comes the waitress and plops the check onto our nicely loaded up table of empty dishes (with no intent to remove them) and without asking if we would like anything else. My friend : "can I get more iced tea please?" Server: "oh you want it to go?" Now normally that would have been perceived as a nicety, but we could only look at is as, "can you hurry up and leave please?". I mean really, how did she know I wasn't looking to have two or three more mimosas which would have nicely jacked up the bill? One of the many things that really dampen a nice meal is when a server drops a check ASSUMING you are done. Ok, onto the food. I can't imagine you would ever be disappointed with the food at this place. (although my friend said her pancakes were dry). However EVERY time I've eaten there the food is amazing. I can vouch for their eggs benedict, Shrimp and Grits, French toast and chicken fried steak. My family came to visit for a week and I took them there for breakfast the first morning and they refused to go anywhere else for breakfast for the rest of the week. Sorry I had to rant, but you know what they say about bad service....You tell way more people about it than great service. PS: I'm a local and a semi regular.

We've really enjoyed Hurricane Cafe for lunch and for dinner. They do have outside tables, and dog friendly too. Inside tables are often busy at dinner time, but never a long wait. Nice service, nice fresh fish and wonderful salads. Good menu variety. We will return!

Great breakfast place! The staff are all very upbeat, friendly and professional. Service was prompt and we never had to wait for a thing! We ordered the chicken and biscuits and an omelette. Enjoyed them both very much! Portions are generous, the biscuits were very very good! Hash browns were standard, the rye toast was large and tasty! We ordered a short stack of pancakes and honestly, I wouldn't recommend them, they weren't very good, dense and gummy. But every thing else was fantastic! If you have a dog.... They have an outdoor seating area in front of the restaurant that is very dog friendly. Make sure to bring your own bowl for water!

With no frills about it hurricane cafe is a solid place for some great food. Most of the reviews here are for their breakfast but we actually went for dinner and had one of the best meals of our stay in the Juno area. The corking fee for bringing your own bottle was a mere 5 dollars! Amazing. The place is definitely not fancy, it's not divey either. Just a relaxed vibe. The service we got was top notch. They came out with complimentary bread and oil dip. We got some calamari to start which was fried up with spicy peppers. Fresh and yummy. For my entree I got the sweet potato crusted grouper and the BF got the macadamia encrusted basa. Both of our meals had a side of vegetable medley and coconut rice. The fish was phenomenal. The grouper came alongside this amazing mango type sauce which really complimented the dish. The BFs food had a flavored herb better spread and it was so crunchy and tasty we both ate our fish to the last bite. The sides weren't anything special but with a piece of fish like that we didn't really care about eating rice. We opted for dessert and coffee and split a cappuccino and a piece of apple crumble. It was delicious and told to be made fresh in house. This is a must visit place especially for seafood lovers.

Used to come here all the time with my husband when Geraldine was the chef and Lovie was our favorite server! Both are no longer here and this is my 3rd chance given since. Every visit has been inconsistent not to mention the staff is always rude or just seems like they could care less to help you. I don't know if it's because we are in our late 20's with tattoos or whatever else but if I'm paying $40 for lunch I should at least feel welcome and get good food. I got the salad and half of the lettuce was wilted and browning. If I wasn't so hungry I would have sent it back!! I fee like we have spoke with management before and it obviously has done nothing. We didn't even get a bread basket like we used to get weather it was lunch or dinner. Sadly there will be no more chances given from me, especially since we used to come here once a week.

Nice menu selection to choose from. Food was prepared really well, restaurant was clean. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Our only complaint was that because they were busy we felt a bit rushed to pay the bill.

Went for breakfast on a Sunday the service was great and the manager was really accommodating trying to get a table for us inside to avoid the August heat. We had breakfast and it was delicious but they serve all here meals. Go for breakfast or brunch delicious. Oh and I had rye bread it was fabulous!!!

Next time we'll stick to Juno Beach Cafe, which is right across the street. We came here because Juno Beach Cafe was too busy. Big mistake. If they're too busy to get in, I'd go for First Watch on Indiantown (great lunch there also). We waited 2-3 times as long as we were told; food wasn't very good. My wife's omelet had something raw in it that smelled weird. My pancakes tasted like they were made of cornmeal or something. They were very dry. Overall, this is the worst breakfast I've had in Jupiter.

I asked for vegetarian food and they were very accommodating. Portobello fries were delicious!

Another 3.5 star spot in the area. Call ahead for breakfast to make sure you can get a table. The staff here is super friendly. They don't have. Bloody Mary's for breakfast, but they do have mimosas, which is basically a mini bottle of champagne and a glass of orange juice. I had the crab cake Benedict's, and they were swimming (pun intended) in hollandaise sauce. The crab cakes themselves were very bready and not very crabby. Cheddar cheese grits were pretty good. It's certainly not bad, but I think Berry Fresh Cafe is better.

Never ever had a less than excellent meal and service here. Food is always fresh and different choices. Today, I tried the French Toast with pecan praline with bananas was fantastic! You can bring the pooch and sit outside. :-)

Breakfast here is average, pretty much standard diner quality food. I had the poached eggs, which were a little overdone. Tasting other dishes at my table I thought there was a lot of butter used, dishes were a somewhat greasy. This place is clean and food arrived quickly.

I just moved into town and was told by my Realtor to give this place a try. I was told to try breakfast first...I love breakfast!!! The décor was bright and cheery. Atmosphere bustleing .Outside patio busy and clean .I was greeted with a smiling hostess ...didn't have to wait too terribly long for a seat (found out I can call ahead in the future) I ordered The traditional Eggs Benny with a side of fruit and it was delicious!!!!!The sauce was homemade!!!I was pleasantly surprised... most places make it from a box !!! The fruit was fresh and tasty ! Finished my mimosa with fresh squeezed OJ ...End of breakfast ..beginning of a wonderful new relationship !! Next time I bring my pooch!! (dog friendly W rules)

Very good! Healthy but pricey juices are wonderful to start your day with! Staff very nice and host is great at his job! We have gone 2 x's and will continue going back as one of our regular spots!

Continues to be very high quality food and service. We've been regulars for years and keep coming back because it's the best in town. We usually come for Sunday brunch, but have also been for lunch and the menu and food are superb. They also have call ahead seating, so you can call when you're on the way -- makes the wait very short. Recommend to all.

I'm giving this place a 3 star rating not because of their food or atmosphere but because of the service. My friend and I had a business meeting here in the morning we met at 7 o'clock. There was only three people in the restaurant not including us. Our waitress a touchdown didn't give us the menus and disappeared for like 3 minutes. When she came back she had menus and proceeded to take our order which we did not clearly have enough time to look at the menu and make a decision especially with all the delicious and tempting tasty items they had. We made our order and it came out relatively quick and within that time the restaurant fills up very very quickly on the left side. So we ate and finished our meeting and have some conversation. And then we waited literally 15 minutes for the Lady to come back over and check us out see if we need anything refill our coffee or juice cause she was so busy on the left side. So it was so embarrassing because I had to leave for another appointment that my client in the having to pay so I can get out of there. And we really have this point I'm considering the service was horrible and we were first in and last out. We could tell the others because they greeted them by name but it seem like the new people who were there they did not treat like they treated the right colors you were coming in consist of me I can understand being a regular and being known and knowing your regulars and taking care of them but I think all customer should be treated the same in a restaurant atmosphere I mean this was not Capital Grille order Ruth Chris.

Neighborhood place located in storefront with very good food. Long waits and noisy. Service average. Server didn't pay attention to my request of "not spicy" and although my salmon was fine, the farro that the salmon was placed on was spicy and filled with peppers.

The food wasn't bad but it was your basic diner feel. The waffle fries were the best part of the meal. Service was ok. The crowd was mostly seniors.

Have gone twice to Hurricane Cafe once for lunch and today for dinner. Have enjoyed both times a lot. The staff is great and help on food selection. They have several interesting dishes like tonight was Grouper cheeks. But I had pot roast and it was tender and presented very well. The black Oliver balsamic dressing was really good. Wife had a burger because she was a little under the weather but said it was very good and perfectly cooked medium. But for me the pride is the orange cake. What a special dessert. I brought it home to enjoy and I just did. So very good!!

    (4)
  • H C.

I love this restaurant...always stop in when I'm in town. Friendly, a lot of stuff is homemade, even the sauces and salad dressings. The Grouper Reuben is fantastic. They carry the quintessential "Orange Cake" made in West Palm. Good atmosphere, friendly service, good food, beer and wine, outdoor seating (dogs allowed), crowded on weekends and at lunch, but they do a good job at keeping up.

I normally don't review a restaurant twice, but I have to give this place credit where it is due. Once again, I called a head- there was a short wait for a table outside, because I had my dog but no more then 5-10 minutes. Once we sat Ashley greeted us, second time having her as our waitress, she is one of the best waitresses we have ever had. You will know exactly who I'm talking about as soon as she greets you at your table. I ordered the granola crusted french toast this time.. It was far to amazing to pause and take picture of, so I apologize.. just order it ;) My fiancé got the smoked turkey omelet again because it is out of this world... Turkey, asparagus, goat cheese and a sun dried tomato pesto. .. This is one of my favorite breakfast spots in Jupiter. Food & Service quality has never disappointed me. I suggest going, if you had a bad experience the first time.. give it a second chance. ;) cheers

Third time to Hurricane Cafe for breakfast. Do really love this place except for parking. Huevos rancheros and Shrimp and grits are outstanding and the pancakes are very fluffy and can get real maple syrup for an extra change (well worth it). Looking forward to trying dinner but do love that breakfast is served till 1:00. Do try this place if you are in the area

Great dinner and service! My Braised Short Ribs were delicious accompanied by yummy side items. In spite of the restaurant being extremely busy our service was good and very pleasant too. The menu selection was excellent. We can't wait to return!

I came to the Hurricane Café for dinner. I had fish and chips, and found the portion to be generous, and the food very high-quality. I also had the clam chowder as an appetizer, and would rate that four out of five in quality--but keep in mind I am comparing this to clam chowder in Boston, which is stiff competition. Timothy Carpenter was the waiter, and I found him to be incredibly hard-working, accommodating, and likely representative of the personnel in this establishment. My eight-year-old daughter loved the pizza, and I would say the portion size was easily double what you would see any other establishments. I would dine here again.

Such a great breakfast! My fiancé and I were on the search for the perfect French toast in the northern palm beach area and found it here. Their granola crusted French toast is absolutely heavenly. I also enjoy their salmon eggs Benedict and omelettes! The best thing is that we can bring our small dog with us when we eat outside. Definitely recommend.

I was torn on this review, as I can't say the execution of the food I sampled at breakfast was quite what I was expecting. Grilled muffins sounded terribly appetizing, and while the nutty muffin was tasty, it was hot on the side that touched the grill, but cold on the other. The hot/cold dichotomy was just not all that appealing. Need to at least put it in the microwave before grilling, or grill both sides. Wild blueberry pancakes were sizable and loaded with blueberries. Not overly buttery/greasy at all, which I very much appreciated. The only problem here was that the pancakes were just a bit on the rubbery side. Yet even with these flaws, I can't help but be a fan, and I suspect I'd be a regular if I lived in this area. Why? Well, the service was efficient and friendly. And they offered REAL MAPLE SYRUP! Granted, you have to pay a $1 upcharge for a little bottle of it, but that's a very reasonable price I'm more than willing to pay. I wish more places would offer this option, because I don't want to douse my waffles/pancakes/French toast with that gross fake syrup. It's become so bad all around South Florida, I've started bringing my own real syrup to breakfast joints. I can't help but be a fan of a place that offers the real thing.

I've been going to The Hurricane Cafe for a long time. The food is always fresh and delicious. They have the best salads! I had a Greek salad with grilled chicken. The salad greens were fresh and crisp. There were roasted peppers and a nice amount of feta cheese served with a yummy greek dressing. One friend had a pear and gorgonzola salad with a delicious maple dressing and my other friend had a Cobb salad that was piled high with ingredients! The service is great s well. Highly recommended!

I ate here two mornings in a row on a recent trip and really enjoyed their omelets. We had a little bit of a hard time spotting it, it is just north of the intersection of Donald Ross and US 1. The outdoor seating seems to always be crowded but we easily found seating indoors. I would highly recomend it.

We have been here now 5 or 6 times since our son moved to WPB back in the spring of 2014. Couple lunches and several breakfasts. Every time has been a great experience. Food is great, service is good and prices are reasonable. The menu is very diverse with something for everyone. It also has a great choice of vegetarian selections which made our daughter very happy. It's always a go-to spot for us now. Highly recommended whenever your in the Juno Beach area...

Delicious food' nicely presented, attentive service! I ate breakfast at the Hurricane Cafe on a Sunday morning, and was quite pleased. Although this is a very popular place (particularly during "season"), we waited only 10 minutes for a table. The noise level inside was a bit high, but not to the point of having to yell at dining companions. While a tad on the pricey side ($8.50 and up for omelets)' the food is delicious. I had the Mediterranean omelette, which featured spinach, mushrooms and goat cheese. Served with your choice of fruit, oatmeal or potatoes, as well as toast, there was more than enough food to satisfy my needs. I didn't take the time to look at their menu for lunch or dinner, but would venture to guess that the experience would be similar and will return to find out!

A good food value; altho we've never been there for bkfst (which everyone told us we should do but never got around to it in our 2 week stay in the area) we did manage to have dinner there twice and it was good. The softshell crab was better than good, fantastic!

Atmosphere: 4 Service: 5 Food: 5 Very extensive breakfast menu which I appreciate. Lots of options from cottage cheese and fruit to cinnamon rolls. Very inventive egg dishes and fresh looking ingredients. We had a large party to seat and they gave us excellent service and doesn't mess up the orders at all. Everyone was really friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend this place if you're interested in a good breakfast. Stop by blowing rocks preserve while you're there. Great beach :)

My favorite place for breakfast in the area. The quiche is awesome. The shrimp and grits are my favorite though! Really everything for breakfast is always good. Service has also always been friendly and quick. I have never been for lunch or dinner; but, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I would only go back here in order to seek shelter for an actual hurricane. The place has invested in an espresso machine but does not know how to respectably treat a coffee lover with fresh half n half- just preservative filled packets.

Great eatery. I never saw the inside because we ate outside, but the ambience was not the highlight. The food was excellent and worth the wait. I had the coconut shrimp salad with a mango vinaigrette. The salad was fresh and beautiful. Check out the picture. Price for 4 people was $58.

Best breakfast in the area! The banana macadamia nut pancakes are amazing. Their hashbrowns are made some magical way because the flavor is so good. I'd highly recommend!

ok.....i heard it was great. SO i went in for lunch. I'll admit it doesn't look like much and almost scared me away, with it's interior (nothing bland, just do many dolphins on the walls). Speaking of dolphins, the dolphin sandwich rocked. The rest in my group loved their food. Word!

This is one of our favorite places for breakfast in town! All of the omelets are delicious & my husband & daughter love all of the pancakes. Lunch is great too and my go to salad is the Cesar w/blackened mahi mahi. Service is efficient & staff is very friendly. You won't be disappointed - give it a try!

I visited Hurricane Cafe in March for their weekday early bird special. I'm always surprised at the huge portions that Florida restaurants serve. My shrimp linguine had more than enough for me to eat for dinner and for lunch the following day. My meal also included a house salad with blue cheese dressing and a slice of Key Lime pie. All the food was very good for the price. Nothing especially exciting in terms of menu options, but there is something for everyone. Our service was plenty fast, but there was some confusion about the rewards card that my aunt brought with her. Although she gave it to our waiter with her credit card, she was unsure if our meal points had been added to her account balance. The hostess told us that there was no way for us to have a record of the added points. Oh well, hopefully they are there.

Breakfast until 1 on Sundays! Score! Great coffee options & good breakfast. Service was friendly. I had the eggs, pancakes, & sausage meal but I saw the huevos rancheros and those looked amazing. I'll definitley get more creative with my order next time.

Best brunch spot in Jupiter. I loved my crab cake benedict!! My boyfriend also ordered wild blueberry pancakes for us to share. The server was really nice and friendly! Almost came back here for a second time before we left.

Good place for breakfast. Service was a little slow on a very busy saturday morning, but that is to be expected. Great menu lots of delicious choices. I ordered the smoked salmon eggs benedict. Delicious. Not the cheap breakfast but the food is great.

Excellent food and service. Waitress was very helpful in explaining items on menu. Very laid back and casual, which is what we wanted.

My girlfriend took me here for breakfast. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Outstanding service. Food was phenomenal. Plenty of room for everybody. Outside dining as well and you can bring your four legged friend. I cannot say enough. Definitely adding this to my regular stops. Highly recommended!!

Went on a Sunday. Of course had to wait, no big deal. Our server was great but the food was just OK. Being from NY I know what breakfast is supposed taste like and this meal unfortunately was just middle of the road and in my opinion a bit pricey for a state that refuses to pay its employees an actual living wage. And I didn't leave any less of a tip because our server was a Red Sox fan. If only seagulls cafe was still open.

Enjoyed the Hurricane Fish Dinner (blackened) off the Sunset Menu. Passed on an appetizer in favor of the breads and dinner salad, the latter being fresh, crisp and tasty. The fish was cooked perfectly and the crust truly heavenly, needing no additional spices or flavoring. The vegetable medley was tasty and flavorful. Too full for any dessert, maybe next time. Service was also qqgood.

No doubt the soup is outstanding and the quiche is very good...for a change not overcooked. The pot roast? Hard to believe the chef went to the culinary institute and didn't learn to make gravy. We got a bare spoonful of pale, tasteless liquid. Isn't the gravy what pot roast is all about? The meat was sort of mystery meat which would be o.k. With a good gravy. Another time we had the waffle fries that came with and altho they are popular in this area, I don't see why....they taste like instant mashed potatoes, shaped and fried. Extremely salty and tasting of dextrose. What is so hard for a restaurant with that price point to make real fries? Overall, the food is o.k. And we keep going back for the quiche and the soup but certainly doesn't live up to a chef who is supposed to be trained and no way deserves five stars.

Love this place. The eggs benedict is a little rich, but sometimes that's what I'm in the mood for. I do take out and have never had any issues with the service. Oh...and you NEED to try the quiche. Crab, lobster, whichever they have that day...order it.

It is usually thanks to my lovely missus' nose for great gastronomic locales that we find places like this one. Hurricane Cafe is one of those understated and unassuming places that surprises one with fare that's not only copious and generous, but prepared with a lot of enthusiasm, love and care for the art of cooking. We must admit, the couple of times we've been there, both the visuals and the flavors of everything we ordered: tops! Fare is Americana "Haute" with a flair for presentation and minor details that make you wonder why everyone is not making things this way. Dessert Menu? Decadently Broad, with great Cakes and Pies, as well as Side Drinks such as Cappuccinos and Lattes PERFECTLY made. Finally, DO TRY THE SMOOTHIES!... they are a treat unto themselves, and definitely worth finding them. ****** SALAD UPDATE! ******* We just had a couple of salads in there, and OMG!... much like the other things we've tried on the menu, the guy behind the stove, he definitely LOVES to cook... I had the Pecan Crusted Chicken, and the blend of warm, recently, evenly and light-breaded chicked, along with sauteed onions, Gorgonzola and Greens, as well as some other goodies loaded into it, made it one of the BEST 'warm salads' i've ever had! Wifey had a more traditional grilled chicken, and still, even though I only had a a couple of perfunctory test bites... WHOA!... So what's next? Pizzas and Flatbreads on the neighbor's table, those looked tantalizing, too!

The best place we ate at during our four day stay in Juno Beach. We had a short wait as the place was very busy. The lunch menu has a wide variety of salads, sandwiches, and wraps. The "Rachel", their take on a Reuben with grouper instead of corn beef was outstanding as was the blackened dolphin sandwich. Great food and good service. We'll go back.

Wife and I went for dinner. Didn't realize they had special early pricing, but before 6 pm dinner including soup or salad is $15.95. One of us had Yankee potroast and other liver and onions. Food was okay, but not special. Service friendly. Portions not that large. Don't see a reason to go back.
